| How will these programs benefit you? |
| Our buddy programs will provide you with the skills and knowledge to help
yourself to improved health and fitness. We expect that the positive health and
fitness behaviours you will develop during your program will eventually become an
integral part of your new lifestyle. We acknowledge that many people may need
longer than a 10 week "kick-start" or some ongoing support as they work to
establish their new physical activity behaviours. |
| When you register for one of our programs you will receive: |
| A thorough screening assessment of your general health,
fitness, and your exercise habits |
| Advice whether you primarily need assistance with
exercise, nutrition or both (see below) |
| A start-up kit which includes an overview of your exercise
program, recommended exercises and some stretches |
| Supervised buddy sessions at your preferred frequency
(ie. one, two or three times per week) |
| Workouts in our fully equipped exercise studio, which now
includes the POWER
PLATE |
| 60 minute workouts for the duration of your program |
| Support and guidance throughout your program |
| A review of your health and fitness improvements during and
at the end of your program. |
| What if I also need dietary or other assistance? |
| You and your buddies can exchange one buddy training session
for a consultation with Kerith Duncanson
(Dietitian). |
