Appointment Length
A standard initial consultation usually takes approximately 45 minutes, whilst a standard review consultation is typically 30 minutes.
The duration of the consultation will depend on your needs and can be adjusted in length to meet your individual requirements.
Fees
Fees for Gastrointestinal Consultations
- Initial Consultation $200 (45 min)
- Review Consultation $120 (30 min)
A referral from your GP or Specialist is not required to make an appointment, however, we generally keep these practitioners informed regarding your dietetic care.
If you have a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP) or an Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan (EDP), you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate. Please ensure we receive this referral prior to your first appointment, as we are unable to process any Medicare claims until it has been provided.
Some private health funds provide rebates for dietitian consultations. Please check with your health fund to confirm your eligibility. An invoice will be issued for you to submit to your health fund for claiming purposes.
