Paediatric Feeding and Gut Issues
How our dietitians can help you
- Personalised support: We work with children with feeding or gut issues and their family to determine food and lifestyle triggers, then guide dietary approaches that suit family life.
- Unravelling complexity: Many of our young clients have complex, overlapping health and medical conditions that affect dietary intake, this is our area of interest and expertise.
- Flexible dietary strategies: We don’t rely on a one-size-fits-all approach to feeding or gut issues. Instead, we aim to broaden food range and reduce symptoms at the same time.
- Holistic care: Often, dietary approaches work better when combined with other lifestyle strategies. We help you explore available options and how to integrate them into your life.

Dietary Management
Dr Kerith is accredited in the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach to Feeding, which is designed to help children with feeding and gut issues by addressing the whole child—physically, emotionally, and developmentally. It is especially helpful for children who are picky eaters or have more severe feeding difficulties. Kerith’s PhD explored responsive feeding and she now specialises in gastrointestinal conditions, so is well positioned to manage complex child feeding issues that overlap with gut conditions. Her goal is to support children to build trust and reduce anxiety around food, helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to eat a wider range of foods comfortably, enjoyably and with fewer symptoms.
